This past spring(2022) was my final semester in college and one of the final courses of my degree(Opera/Vocal Performance) was Opera Literature.
Our final project was to use any art medium of choice to express gender, race, or class in an opera of your choice. I was thrilled to be able to combine my two loves in one project, music and jewelry making🎶✨
I chose to express gender and class in form of a wire wrapped jewelry collection, inspired by the 5 main character of Mozart’s, Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
